Rumbold, 3rd Infantry, Missouri National Guard, was detailed for duty in the Bureau, under the provisions of Section 81, of an Act of Congress, approved June 3, 1916. Special Orders No. 87, War Department, April 16, 1917, paragraph 30. 2. Colonel Rumbold's resignation as Lieutenant Colonel of the 3rd Missouri Infantry, National Guard, was accepted by the President to-day and he has been commissioned as Colonel, 1st Missouri Field Artillery, National Guard. 3.
